Women's Ministry
Women’s ministry is engaged in enriching fellow believers, developing relationships with other women and children for evangelizing, praying fervently for those in need and for supporting the church achieve its vision and mission. Women’s ministry is instrumental in resolving concerns and creating opportunities in building the kingdom of God.
Women’s Sunday, i.e. the second Sunday evening of every month is celebrated with pomp and glory. Women of God bring in new women to the house of God and rejoice in His presence. The fellowship and harmony among church women are exhibited as they gather under one roof as one family. Special songs, skillful tips both godly and worldly, powerful worship sessions, rekindling sermon, fun filled games, thought-provoking skits, dramas, yummy snacks are all highlights of this evening.
Kids' Ministry
Kids’ ministry is designed to bring up children in the fear of God so that they will be able to live a separated life for God without falling into the sins of the world. The main goal of kids’ ministry is to raise the younger generation as witnesses of Christ who will be pillars of the church and lighthouses to the society in future.
Kids’ ministry has various aspects attached to it to help the children grow in the Lord and take the road of success for God’s glory. The Sunday school for kids accommodates children of age groups ranging from 3 to 16 years. Sunday school engages itself in giving quality teaching to the children on God’s word, inspiring verses to memorize, absorbing activities and cool crafts. Every third Sunday, there is a special service for the kids with wonderful songs, lively worship, strengthening words, interesting clippings, fun games and many more.
Kids’ ministry has expanded its territories as there is an increasing number of Sunday schools in several areas where the church believers are placed. Active members sacrifice their time and put in their efforts to share the gospel to small and young hearts at their respective places by means of action songs, memory verses, Bible stories, and activities.
The highlight of kids’ ministry in the church is the VBS (Vacation Bible School). The church, with prayers and guidance of the Holy Spirit, chooses a theme and teaches on the same for a week to ten days by gathering as many children as possible in the areas of their vicinity. Children are divided into five classes as Beginner, Primary, Junior, Senior and Super Senior based on their age groups and are taught based on the chosen theme. More than 120 children gather and are blessed through VBS as it operates in five functional areas- Bible Story, Memory Verse, Activity, Craft, and Games. Due to the increasing reception to VBS, our church has planned to start a winter camp for children in the month of December.
Prayer Ministry
Prayer ministry is based on steadfast prayers and intercessions to the Lord for world peace, for the nation, for the people in need, for ministries, for the church, and for the believers. Prayer ministry aims at fixing the eyes on God alone.
Regular prayer gatherings happen every week on Tuesdays and Fridays. The church gathers for fasting prayer at 10:00 am every Saturday. In addition, there are special prayers every year- 40 days prayer in the lent days and 12 days thanksgiving prayer at the end of the year.
Youth Ministry
Youth ministry is driven with the purpose of creating a sense of godliness among the young people that will enable them to have a faithful and responsible living based on the word of God. Youth ministry helps the young men and women take deeper roots in Christ in order to bear fruits for the Lord.
Tracts Distribution Ministry
Tracts distribution ministry is resolved at evangelizing the literate population with the good news. Tracts ministry is carried out with sincerity in every area with the motive of spreading Father’s love, Jesus’s sacrifice and the Holy Spirit’s comfort for the mankind. The focus is on personal evangelism whereby every believer of the church is engaged in giving at least 1 tract a day. In response to God’s word through St. Paul that preaching the gospel is every believer’s prime duty, our church with its believers carries it out faithfully every week.
Nurses Fellowship
As the church is located near one of the biggest hospitals in the country by name, JIPMER and as there are a huge number of nurses residing in and around the church area, our church has been burdened towards organizing a fellowship for nurses wherein they are encouraged and fed with manna-the filling word of God for the soul. Special prayers are made for the well-being of nurses, their personal and professional life and in particular, for their families.
Cell Group (Ward) Ministry
Cell Group ministry involves exclusive prayers for the area as a whole, support for those in need, relating with the comfortless and helping every individual particularly, the believers to live satisfied lives. Ward prayers and gatherings are exclusively framed for the good fellowship among believers in an area and for the development of the area in every realm.
